Will Spangler Trawick, age 77, of Iron City, GA passed away Thursday morning, April 13, 2017 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, AL. Funeral services for Mr. Trawick will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Oakview Church of God with Rev. Mylan Brookins, Rev. Johnny Taylor, and Rev. Jimmy Walden officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Austin Trawick, Jeremy Trawick, Alex Trawick, Zachary Trawick, Shane Trawick, Garrett Miller, Joe Sheffield, and Monroe Bonner serving as active casketbearers. Visitation will be held on Friday evening, April 14, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA. Mr. Trawick was born in Bainbridge, GA on July 1, 1939 to Tom Spangler Trawick and Clyde Belcher Trawick. He was retired from farming and attended Oakview Church of God. Mr. Trawick had served on the Seminole County Tax Equalization Board and was awarded the impressive American Farmer Degree. He was active with his children and grandchildren during their participation in showing hogs and cattle with 4-H and FFA, as well as being a member of the Seminole County Young Farmers and an honorary member of the Seminole County FFA. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Norma Trawick of Iron City, GA; his children, Damon Trawick and wife Janice of Lehigh Acres, FL, Jeffrey Trawick and wife Kelly of Newnan, GA, Reggie Trawick and wife Candy of Bainbridge, GA, and Casandra Blackmon and husband Eric of Newnan, GA; his siblings, Delores Cloud of Bainbridge, GA, Gordon Trawick and wife Dianne of Iron City, GA, Chason Trawick and wife Anne of Donalsonville, GA, and Debra Miller and husband Grady of Brinson, GA; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Trawick is also survived by his grandchildren, Danielle Gonzalez, Megan Lockhart, Austin Trawick, Alex Trawick, Jeremy Trawick, Zachary Trawick, Christian Blackmon, and Andrea Winkles and his great grandchildren, Brielle O’Hayon and A.J. Winkles. Mr. Trawick was preceded in death by his parents, Tom Spangler Trawick and Clyde Belcher Trawick and one brother, Oscar Trawick.
