December 6, 1933 — May 7, 2006

We regret to announce the passing of Hattie Ellen Hudson, age 72, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2006, at the Miller County Hospital in Colquitt, GA. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 11, 2006 at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Bell officiating. Interment will follow at Salem-Seminole Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 10, 2006 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mrs. Hudson was born in Donalsonville, GA on December 6, 1933 to the late David Emerson and Belle Earnest Faircloth. She was a lifelong resident of Seminole County, a member of the Donalsonville Church of Christ and worked as a hostess. . She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters, Deborah Ammons and her husband Wayne of Del Rio, TX; Rhonda NeSmith and her husband Pete of Lake Wales, FL, Iris Concannon and her husband Jay of Ft. Pierce, FL; three sisters, Maggie Horn, Grace Whittaker and Valeta Whittaker all of Donalsonville, GA. She was also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Wayne Ammons, Pete NeSmith, Jay Concannon, Ron Ammons, Kenny Whittaker and Brian McKaskle. Her parents, Emerson and Belle Earnest Faircloth, three brothers, Fred, Oliver and Arthur Faircloth and one sister Sarah F. Dukes, preceded her in death. Flowers accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Donalsonville Church of Christ, P.O. Box 601, Donalsonville, GA 39845. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
