DANNY KINNEY

Danny Lamar Kinney, age 68, of Iron City, GA passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2016 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Walden officiating. Burial will follow in Corinth Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with Carl Scott, Robert Scott, Charles Scott, Ray Scott, Hadden Scott, and Steven Gause serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service starting at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Kinney was born in Columbus, GA on December 6, 1948 to Anderson Kinney and Melba Pinkney Kinney Scott. Mr. Kinney worked as an industrial painter for Coast to Coast Coatings. He loved fishing, wood carving and making things from copper wire and he attended Unity Church of God. Mr. Kinney leaves to cherish his memory his Wife, Rebecca Faye Pope Kinney; his mother, Melba Scott; his daughter, Shannon Kinney; his brothers, Carl Scott and Kathy, Robert Scott and Susan, Charles Scott and Amy, and Ray Scott and Debbie all of Iron City GA. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Alea Worsley and Arron Phillips, and Marla Kinney; and a great grandchild on the way. He was preceded in death by his father, Anderson Kinney; and a son, Adam Kinney
