Charles "Chuck" Cross

Charles “Chuck” Cross, Sr. of Canton, GA passed away Monday, January 23, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emory and Lois Woodham Cross and two brothers, Joseph Cross and Darrell Cross. Mr. Cross is survived by his children, Charles E. and Vickie Cross, Jr, Sugar Hill, GA, Paul Wesley and Kelly Cross, Sugar Hill, GA; grandchildren, Carter Cross and Chandler Cross; sister, Kathryn and Buryl Logue, Iron City, GA; sister-in-law, Betty Cross, Malone, FL; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mr. Cross was born November 11, 1942 in Donalsonville, GA. He was a 1960 graduate of Seminole County High School. He was a retired iron worker and had his own business, making ornamental steel products. Mr. Cross was a member of Atlanta Masonic Lodge where he was a Mason. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home, Donalsonville, GA with Rev. Richard Trawick officiating. The family will have visitation immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hickory Flat Fire Department, 3624 Hickory Flat Hwy, Canton, GA 30115 in memory of Chuck Cross.
