ALLEN DEAN CHANCEY

We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Allen Dean Chancey, age 48, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Monday, August 10, 2009 at his residence. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 14, 2009 at 3:00 PM at Friendship Cemetery with Dr. Dudley H. Chancey, Jr. officiating. The family is receiving friends at the home of Debbie Cook 958 Babcock Road in Colquitt, GA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Special Olympics 4000 Dekalb Technology Parkway Doraville, GA 30340. Mr. Chancey was born in Savannah, Ga on March 20, 1961 to the late Dudley H. Chancey, Sr. and Lois B. Williams Chancey. He is survived by three sisters, Libby Robinson (Johnny) of Donalsonville, GA, Debbie Cook (Roy) of Colquitt, GA,and Carole McFee (Matt) of Greensboro, NC; two brothers, Dr. Dudley H. Chancey, Jr. (Vicki) of Edmond, OK and David Wayne Chancey of Napier Field, AL; a special friend, Bill Langley of Tallahassee, FL; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dudley H. Chancey, Sr. and Lois B. Williams Chancey. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
