HOPE GENENE HICKS

Hope Genene Hicks, age 45, of Wausau, FL passed away Friday morning, Jan. 6, 2017 at her residence. Funeral services for Mrs. Hicks will be held on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. David Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Oakview Church of God Cemetery with Lamar Hicks, Josh Hicks, Jack Griffin, Blake Hicks, Caleb Hicks, J.J. Wildes, and Jason Logue serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Mrs. Hicks was born in Dothan, AL on May 1, 1971 to Ronnie Hutchins and Janice Parks Hutchins. She was an administration assistant and city council member of Wausau, FL. Mrs. Hicks had recently completed EMT school. She was a member of Wausau Assembly of God Church. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Chris Hicks of Donalsonville, GA; her son, Tristan Curtis Hicks of Donalsonville, GA; her daughter, Lillie Adkins of Orlando, FL; and her son, Nathaniel Granberry of Dothan, AL. She is also survived by her mother, Janice Morris of Wausau, FL; her father, Ronnie Hutchins of Chipley, FL; her grandfather, Charles Parks, Sr. of Wausau, FL; two brothers, Shane Bryant of Marianna, FL and Randall Hutchins of Chipley, FL; and two sisters, Shannon Bryant of Marianna, FL and Deanna Nelson of Chipley, FL. Mrs. Hicks was preceded in death by her grandmother, Willie Mae Parks and her son, Nicholas Granberry.
