GLENDA TURNER

Glenda Turner, age 65, of Tallahassee, FL passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Big Bend Hospice in Tallahassee, FL. Funeral services for Mrs. Turner will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Immanuel Baptist Church in Tallahassee, FL. Interment will held Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 3:00 PM in Salem-Seminole Baptist Church Cemetery in Donalsonville, GA. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 26, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA. Mrs. Turner was born September 8, 1951 in Donalsonville, GA to the now late William Cullen Turner and Mary Jeanette Thomas Turner. She supervised group homes as a mental health caregiver supervisor. She was active with the Easter Seals Organization, was active in her church, and was actively involved in animal rescue. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Shea Grant of Tallahassee, FL; her brothers, Gary Turner and his wife Angela of Jakin, GA, Greg Turner of Headland, AL and Shane Saunders and his wife Becky of Donalsonville, GA; a sister, Jackie Saunders of Donalsonville, GA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her parents, William Cullen Turner and Mary Jeanette Thomas Turner Johnson.
