LESLIE EDWARD STRAWSER

Leslie Edward Strawser, age 73, of Iron City, GA passed away Monday evening, Nov. 7, 2016 at his residence. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA. The family will receive friends immediately prior to the service at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Strawser was born in Fairmount, IN on February 3, 1943 to James and Sylvia Reismiller Strawser. He served his country in the United States Army and was a self-employed diesel mechanic. He is survived by his children, Leslie Nicole Strawser of Iron City, GA, Teresa Diane Rushing of Ft. Wayne, IN, Timothy Edward Strawser (Rhonda) of London, KY, Mark Anthony Strawser (Michelle) of Homer, LA; his brothers, Alvin Strawser (Nancy) of Covington, IN, and Wendell Strawser. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Hannah Barrett, Taylor Rushing, Dustin Strawser, Corey Stawser, Cassie Strawser, Timothy Strawser, Marky Randle, Alisha Leigh Strawser, Zach Strawser, Angela Epperson, Alyssa Strawser and Robert Strawser. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Sylvia Reismiller Strawser; his wife, JoAnn Jordan Strawser; a sister, Carol Jo Strawser; and a grandson, Coty Edward Strawser.
