Tony James Phillips, age 56, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Friday, November 5, 2016. Funeral services for Mr. Phillips will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Oakview Church of God in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. Johnny Taylor and Rev. Jimmy Walden officiating. Interment will follow in Corinth Free Will Baptist Cemetery in Iron City, GA with Jazz McMillan, Raymond Thompson, Brad Thompson, Chris Thompson, Michael Thompson, Murry Ingram, Mickey Cole and J.C. Chance serving as active pallbearers and Rex Thompson and Raymond McMillan will serve as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be held on one hour prior to the service starting at 1:00 PM in the church. Mr. Phillips worked as a farmer and attended Oakview Church of God. He is survived by his mother, Maxine McMillan and her husband Bryan of Donalsonville, GA; his daughters, Heather Handsford and Corey of Donalsonville, GA, Beth Phillips of Donalsonville, GA, Jamie Roach and Terry of Iron City, GA; his son, Corey Phillips McMillan of Swainsboro, GA; his brothers, Terry Phillips and Wanda of Donalsonville, GA, Rocky Phillips and Tammy of Donalsonville, GA, Latharo Phillips of Donalsonville, GA, Chad Phillips and Tiffany of Donalsonville, GA, Brantley McMillan of Donalsonville, GA, Raymond McMillan and Sally of Donalsonville, GA, Glenn McMillan and Debbie of Colquitt, GA, Lee McMillan of Colquitt, GA Bruce McMillan and Leah of Valdosta, GA; his sisters, Diane McMillan of Colquitt, GA, Audrey Ingram and Murry of Colquitt, GA, Georgia Jones and William of Donalsonville, GA; and seven grandchildren He was preceded in death by his father, James David “Rat” Phillips, his brother, Randy Phillips, his sisters, Jeannie Hunt and Melissa McMillan; and his granddaughter, Khi’Yonna Handsford.
