LOUISE HAY HOY

August 18, 1922 — October 22, 2016

Mrs. Louise Jeffcoat Hay-Hoy, age 94, of Jacksonville, FL and formerly of Donalsonville, GA and Marianna, FL, passed away Saturday morning, Oct. 22, 2016 at Baptist Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. Graveside services for Mrs. Hay-Hoy will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016 at Friendship Cemetery in Donalsonville, GA with Dr. Raymond Guterman officiating and Charlotte Thomas Marshall sharing. Visitation will be held on Monday evening, Oct. 24, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to Paul Anderson Youth Home 1603 McIntosh St. Vadalia, GA 30474. Mrs. Hay-Hoy was born in Waycross, GA to Samuel W. “Sam” Jeffcoat and Ethel Jones Jeffcoat on August 18, 1922. She worked for many years as the City Clerk for Donalsonville and then went to work for Spooner Farm Center. She retired in 1982. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Donalsonville, GA before moving to Marianna and then to Jacksonville, FL. She loved to do needlepoint and was a regular shopaholic according to her family. She leaves to cherish her memory, her son Ed Hay and his wife Sandy of Jacksonville, FL; her grandson, Charles Hay of Athens, GA; and her brother, James Harvey Jeffcoat of Orlando, FL; her niece, Becki Jeffcoat of Albany, GA; her nephew, Jim Jeffcoat and his wife Jan of Albany, GA; her niece, Beverly Brock of Tipton, IN; stepchildren, Betty Sellers of Naples, FL, Mary Lynn Hancock and husband Bubba of Destin, FL, Dan Hoy of Marianna, FL; and grand nieces and nephews. Mrs. Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Sam Jeffcoat and Ethel Jeffcoat; her husbands, Bill Hay and Jesse Hoy; her daughter, Sandra Louise Hay; and her grandson, John Samuel Hay.
