ROMONA MILLER BATTS

Romona Miller Batts, age 83, of Brinson, GA passed away Friday afternoon, Sept. 16, 2016 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, AL. Funeral services for Mrs. Batts will be held on Monday morning, Sept. 19, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. Scott Messer officiating. Interment will follow in New Enterprise Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Iron City, GA. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Mrs. Batts was born June 3, 1933 in Donalsonville, GA to Henry Ausley (H.A.) Miller and Grace Gee Miller. She was a LPN, having worked for Donalsonville Hospital for over 46 years before her retirement. She loved her family and spending time with them; however, nursing had always been her passion. Mrs. Batts leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Joel Batts of Brinson, GA; her daughters, Joette Bauman (Holden Whitaker) of Brinson, GA and Tanna Harrison of Iron City, GA; her sister, Lounona Conner of Brinson, GA and her brother, Grady G. Miller and his wife Jodi of Colorado. She is also survived by one granddaughter, Annette Bauman of Brinson, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Ausley (H.A.) Miller and Grace Gee Miller and a brother. Grayson Miller.
