William David Cliett, age 70, of Donalsonville, GA passed Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, AL. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. Jerry Murkerson officiating. Interment will follow in Spring Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Donalsonville, GA with Roy BArber, Ramon Burke, Randy Marchese, Charlie Wells, James Wilson, Larry Murkerson, Todd Murkerson, Billy Whitaker, and Vic Stuart serving as active casketbearers. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 9, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mr. Cliett was born in Donalsonville, GA on August 5, 1946 to Woodrow and Lorene Burke Cliett. He was a retired Powerhouse Operator at Georgia Pacific. Mr. Cliett loved to fish, grow his vegetables gardens and he also enjoyed karaoke. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Debra Kelly Cliett of Donalsonville, GA; his sons, Todd Cliett (Leslie) of Parrot, GA and Bryon Cliett (Kelly) of Columbus, GA; a step-son, Kelly Jarrell of Little Rock, AR; his grandchildren, Joshua Cliett, Jacob Cliett, Jessica Cliett, Jebediah Cliett, Kyle Masse, Mellany Jarrell, Tyler Sweeny, and Landon Jarrell. He is also survived by several nieces. Mr. Cliett was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Lorene Burke Cliett; and his sister, Frankie Gordon.
