Emilio Vincent Coirini, Sr., age 86, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Friday evening, July 29, 2016 at his residence. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Friendship United Methodist Church in Donalsonville with Rev. Garth Duke-Barton officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 1:00 PM at the church. In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorial contributions be made to the Food Bank of Friendship United Methodist Church. Mr. Coirini was born Feb. 2, 1930 in Washington, D.C. to Carlo Coirini and Fortunata Sidotti Coirini. He received his architectual degree from Georgia Tech and worked until his retirement with John Portman and Associates. Mr. Coirini served his country in the United States Navy as well. He was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church and loved tthe beach. Mr. Coirini's hobbies included tennis, hunting for blue crabs, and tinkering with old cars. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Anne Carver Coirini of Donalsonville, GA; his children, Susan C. Pleak and husband David of Marietta, GA, Emilio Coirini, Jr. and wife Christine of Marietta, GA, and Steffey Vines and husband David of Donalsonville, GA. Mr. Coirini is survived by his grandchildren, Chip Sanders, Thomas Vines, Andrew Pleak, Benjamin Pleak, Trey Coirini, Abby Coirini, Madison Degiuli, Allison Degiuli, and Grant Degiuli. Mr. Coirini was preceded in death by his parents, Carlo Coirini and Fortunata Sidotti Coirini, as well as a daughter, Lis Anne Coirini.
