GLADYS CLARK BONNER

Gladys Bonner, known affectionately by her family as “G”, passed away at SAMC on July 21, 2016, surrounded by her loving husband, son, daughter-in-law, and grandson. “G” was born on February 13, 1934 to Park and Lala Clark. She married Louis Bonner on June 27, 1953 and they enjoyed 64 plus years of marriage. She was pre-deceased by brothers Harvey and Jack Clark and sisters Doris Berry, Laverne McNair, Eulala Kelly, and Cozette Nichols. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Louis Bonner, son M. Bonner and his wife Denise, grandson Brad Bonner and his wife April, and three wonderful granddaughters, Cadance, Gabby, and London. “G”’s visitation will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Friendship United Methodist Church, where she was a faithful member of 50 years, with the service to follow at 11:00 AM. Reverend Garth Duke-Barton along with Tim and Tracey Bell will officiate. The Reverend Charles Dennis was asked to sing “How Great Thou Art”. Active pall bearers will be Billy Williams, Billy Shingler, Brad Bonner, Jimmy Cannon, Brinson Register, E.C. Bridges, Tim Bell and James Taylor.
