EVELYN CHRISTINE JONES TEMPLES

We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Evelyn Temples, age 74, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Friday, June 12, 2009 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 14, 2009 at 3:00 PM at Hammock Springs Freewill Baptist Church with Dr. Gary Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Friendship Memorial Gardens in Donalsonville, GA. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 13, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. She was a member of Hammock Springs Freewill Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and will be rememberd by many as working in the school lunchroom. She was a loving person to all who knew her. She is survived by her husband Henry Temples of Donalsonville, GA; one son, Paul Temples and his wife Lajuanna of Bainbridge, GA; four daughters, Chris Pongerayter and her husband Mike of Northport, AL; Kattie Rogers and her husband Roy; Lannie Grant and her husband Edward both of Donalsonville, GA; Rebecca Thomas and her husband Alan of Bainbridge, GA; Three brothers, Robert Jones and his wife Sue; Cecil Jones and his wife Joan; Joseph Jones and his wife Jane all of Atlanta, GA; seven sisters Nellie Allison of Atlanta, GA; Pauline Kirkland of Bainbridge, GA; Francis Page of Dothan, AL; Virginia Varnum of Sugar Hill, GA; Betty Jean Fogle and her husband J.C. of IN; Alma Albercombe and her husband Bobby of Conyers, GA and Martha Enfinger and her husband Bobby of Blakely. GA. She is also survived by grandchildren Brad Williams and his wife Brooke; Jason Rogers and his wife Diana; Chas Grant and his wife Alicia, Suzanne Grant, Kristin Phillips, Heather Temples, Trey Temples, Tara Reaves amd her husband Kyle; Jared Bray, Cody Helms, Alex Helms and Cali Helms and great grandchildren Austin, Lindsay, Peyton, Tripp, McKayla, Forrest, Anna and Emma Grace. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Ferrell and Vera Mulkey Jones one brother, Buddy Jones and two sisters, Louise Evans and Margie Temples.
