ROBERTA "ROBBIE" LOWE MOYE

Roberta “Robbie” Lowe Moye, age 78, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Friday, April 29, 2016. Funeral services for Mrs. Moye will be held on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Oakview Church of God with Rev. Johnny Taylor, Rev. Herman Enfinger, and Jon Moye officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery with Ben Spooner, Chris Thompson, Shawn Edwards, Robert Ogletree, Gage Smith, and Cody Anderson serving as active casketbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 2:00 PM at Oakview Church of God. Mrs. Moye was born October 4, 1937 to Larue “Bud” Lowe and Catherine Baxley Lowe. She retired from GA Pacific after having worked there for many years in the data processing department. She was a member of the Pineview Community Club, the Donalsonville Senior Citizens Center, and Oakview Church of God. She leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, Joe Moye and Mitzy, Jon Moye and Donna, and Carey Moye and Jane all of Donalsonville, GA; her grandchildren, Kristy Griffin and Hugh of Anchorage, Alaska, Brandy Spooner and Ben of Donalsonville, GA, Blair Thompson and Chris of Donalsonville, GA, Jared Huggins and Stefi of Denver, CO, Layne Edwards and Shawn of Donalsonville, GA, Kacie Ogletree and Robert of Donalsonville, GA, Ashely Moye and Cody Anderson of Donalsonville, GA, Kyla Moye and Gage Smith of Colquitt, GA, and Kandice Huggins of Mariana, FL; as well as 17 great grandchildren. Mrs. Moye was preceded in death by her parents, Larue “Bud” Lowe and Catherine Baxley Lowe; her brother, John “Buddy” Lowe; her husband, Glynn Moye; her son, Frank Huggins; and her grandson, Jeremy Huggins.
