We regret to announce the passing of Thomas Alday, Jr, age 73, of Perry, GA formerly of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at Summerhill Elderliving in Perry, GA. Graveside service will be held Saturday, April 1, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Hebrew Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Andy Merritt officiating. Mr. Alday was born in Seminole County on September 14, 1922 to the late Thomas Silas and Lavara Robinson Alday. He owned and operated a shrimp boat out of East Point, FL. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Dykes Alday in 2000. He is survived by four sisters, Inez McGrath and her husband Ted, Rita Stafford and her husband Richard all of Warner Robbins, GA; Opal Whatley and her husband Tom of Kathleen, GA and Lynette Hardy and her husband Ralph of Ft. Mitchell, AL; sister-in-law, Marla Touchton of Donalsonville, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and one brother, Wilson Alday.
