MAMIE CONOLY

Mamie Elizabeth Cox Conoly, age 83, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Friday evening, March 11, 2016 at her residence. Funeral services for Mrs. Conoly will be held on Sunday afternoon, March 13, 2016 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Hornsby officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery with John Dick, Joe McLendon, Jerry Houston, Stan Kennedy, Micah Conoly, and Zack Conoly serving as active casketbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Conoly was born in Quincy, FL on November 4, 1932 to Shackleford Noah Cox and Vera Cox. She was a homemaker and member of Iron City Baptist Church. She and her husband, Fred Conoly, owned and operated a ceramic and frame shop for a number of years in Donalsonville. She enjoyed cooking and being with her family. She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Lee Conoly and Mike Conoly and his wife Lisa all of Iron City, GA; her grandchildren, Zack Conoly and his wife Nicole of Donalsonville, GA, Micah Conoly and his wife Kayla of Jakin, GA, Merredith Conoly of Augusta, GA, and Logan Conoly of Donalsonville, GA; and her great granddaughter, Olivia Kate Conoly. Mrs. Conoly was preceded in death by her parents, S.N. Cox and Vera Cox; her husband, Fred Conoly; and her great granddaughter, Zoey Conoly.
