Juanita Poston Robinson, age 93, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016 in Colquitt, GA. Funeral services for Mrs. Robinson will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Salem-Seminole Baptist Church in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. Travis Free and Rev. James Younis officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Fred Berkley Shirah, Jr., Kevin Sconyers, Lil’ Lary Robinson, Lil’ Ed Kirkland, Raymond Robinson, and Keith Robinson, Jr. serving as active casketbearers. Honorary casketbearers will be Timothy Watson, Jerry Robinson, Jr., John Robinson, Jr., Stevie Robinson, and Lavon Tice. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 1:00 PM at the church. Mrs. Robinson was born in Donalsonville, GA on January 14, 1923 to Macon Poston and Millie Ernestine Faircloth Poston. She was a member of Salem-Seminole Baptist Church and a homemaker. Mrs. Robinson was a loving mother, grandmother, and inspiration to all. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Raymond Kelly Robinson and Martha of Donalsonvile, GA, John Watson Robinson of Albany, GA, Pauline Kirkland Tice and Sammy of Donalsonville, GA, Rebecca Ard and Earl Johnson of Dothan, AL, Ilene Williams and Joe of Colquitt, GA, Debra Love and Danny of Cedar Springs, GA, Sonny Robinson of Donalsonville, GA, Larry Robinson and Vickie of Albany, GA, Keith Robinson and Kristie of Albany, GA, Toby Robinson and Gail of Donalsonville, GA, and Regina Martin and Bill of Sneads, FL; her sister, Joan Bryant and Davis of Tallahassee, FL; and a sister-in-law, Jeanette Poston of Marietta, GA. Mrs. Robinson is also survived by 44 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by her parents, Macon and Ernestine Faircloth Poston; her husband, Raymond Paul Robinson; three sons, Jerry Robinson, Jake Robinson, and Durwood Robinson; three brothers, Buddy Poston, Jack Poston, and Gibson Poston; four sisters, Geneva Braswell, Dixie Wiley, Mary Poston, and Walistine Rayfield; three grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
