We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Martha Gail “Marti” Hurley, age 59, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at the Donalsonville Hospital in Donalsonville, GA. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 24, 2009 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. Eric Boomer officiating. Burial will follow at Rock Pond/Olive Grove Cemetery in Iron City. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 23, 2009 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA Mrs. Hurley was born on November 16, 1949 to Evelyn Holley Kirksey and the late M.G. Holley. She was married to the late Johnny Wayne Hurley and attended First Church of the Nazarene in Donalsonville. She worked as a purchasing coordinator with Seminole Memorial and Amaco Fabrics. She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Evelyn H. Kirksey of Donalsonville, GA; a son, Buddy Wayne Hurley and his wife Mary of Bainbridge, GA; a daughter, Tessie Temples and her husband Lamar of Iron City, GA; a brother, Jerry Holley and his wife Shana of Donalsonville, GA; two sisters, Becky Faircloth and her husband Chuck of Donalsonville, GA; Dianne Vorse of Leesburg, GA; best friend, Margaret “Maggie” Tedder of Donalsonville, GA; Two grandchildren, Lee and Ryan Temples and surrogate grandchildren Joe Barber, Julia Kimmins and Jay Kimmins and well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, M.G. Holley and her husband, Johnny Wayne Hurley. Casketbearers will be Michael Temples, Jeremy Holley, Jacob Holley, Joe Barber, John B. Calloway, Todd Dunn, Eric Temples, Marty Temples, Matthew Vorse and Tony Black Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
