BETTY ANN ROBERTS DICKERSON

Betty Ann Roberts Dickerson, age 78, of Graceville, FL and formerly of Iron City, GA passed away Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 3, 2016 at Campbelton Graceville Hospital in Graceville, FL. Funeral services for Mrs. Dickerson will be held on Friday, Feb. 5, 2016 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. Wayne Sheffield officiating. Interment will follow at New Home Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Miller County with Leon McCormick, Brett Roberts, Willard Mims, Roger Lane, Kenneth Crooms, and Shannon Dickerson serving as active casketbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Dickerson was born in Donalsonville, GA on June 9, 1937 to John B. Roberts and Jessie Edna Fiveash Roberts. She retired from Georgia Pacific as a secretary. Mrs. Dickerson was a member of Jakin Freewill Baptist Church and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She leaves to cherish her memory, a son, Leon McCormick and his wife JoAnna Graves of Cartersville, GA; a daughter, Amy McCormick of Ideal, GA; a sister, Alice Morris of Dothan, AL; a brother, Raymond Roberts and his wife Sue of Sheridan, IN; and a sister-in-law, Virginia Roberts of Huntsville, AL. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Courtney Graves and Katie McCormick. Mrs. Dickerson was preceded in death by her parents, John B. Roberts and Jessie Edna Fiveash Roberts; her husband, Felton “PeeWee” Dickerson; and a brother, Ralph Roberts.
