Annie Merle Helms Parker

We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Annie Merle Helms Parker, age 81, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Monday, April 20, 2009 at the Miller County Nursing Home in Colquitt, GA. Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, April 24, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Salem-Seminole Baptist Church in Donalsonville, GA. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 23, 2009 from 7:00-8:30 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA Mrs. Parker was born on July 11, 1927 in Bascom, FL to the late Crawford and Gertrude Dickens Helms. She was married to the late Reuben Parker and was a member of Hebrew Freewill Baptist Church in Donalsonville. She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Edward Parker and his wife Debbie of Bradenton, FL; one brother, Alfred Helms of Dalton, GA; two sisters, Norma Deal of Ashford, AL and Nell Aguilar of Jakin, GA. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Robert Edward Parker and Jason Daniel Parker and two great grandchildren, Benjamin Alan Parker and Jeremiah Samuel Parker. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Thomas T. Parker; one brother, Talmadge Helms and one sister, Lillian Thornton. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
