MERRY KIM BARRETT

Merry Kim Barrett, age 59, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Wednesday afternoon, January 13, 2016 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, AL. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA with Rusty Bradley officiating. Mrs. Barrett was born in Lakeland, FL on June 19, 1956 to Jack Lavon Miles and Shirley Ann Dudley Miles. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and a homemaker. Mrs. Barrett enjoyed scrapbooking and other crafts. She was an animal lover, a wonderful cook, but most importantly of all she had a kind heart and loved people and being able to help others. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Walter Barrett of Donalsonville, GA; her mother, Shirley Ann Dudley Miles of Donalsonville, GA; two daughters, Brittany Bradley and her husband Joshua of Bainbridge, GA and Brenda Purvis of Leesburg, GA; a son, Jeff Barrett and his wife Kelly of Leesburg, GA; a sister, Michelle Wildes and her husband J.J. of Donalsonville, GA; and seven grandchildren, Charlotte Grace Bradley, Corey Purvis, Shane Purvis, Austin Purvis, Whitney Rodman, Brant Barrett, and Cole Barrett. She is also survived by a niece, Mistic Leigh Perry of Donalsonville, GA; a nephew, Dustin Perry of Donalsonville, GA; and a great niece, Jackson Allana Flemming of Donalsonville, GA. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Lavon Miles. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to help with funeral expenses.
