Ruby Benton

Ruby Delphina Easom Benton, age 84, of Malone, FL passed away Friday, January 8, 2016 at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at 2:00 PM (CST) at Malone First Free Will Baptist Church in Malone, FL with Rev. Earl Clark and Rev. John Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Springhill Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Gordon, AL with Clayton Jordan, Adam Jordan, T.J. Benton, Trey Benton, Buddy Benton and Randy Benton serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service starting at 1:00 PM (CST) in the church. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Don Benton (Martha) of Malone, FL, Steve Benton (Jerri) of Marianna, FL, Tim Benton (Sheila) of Malone, FL, Pam Jordan (Steve) of Bascom, FL and Paula Wright (Gene) of Malone, FL; her brothers, Miles Shiver (Maria) and Buddy Shiver (Allie) all of Tallahassee, FL. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and twenty-seven great grandchildren. Mrs. Benton was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Samuel Haines Benton; two sons, Max Benton and Travis Haines Benton.
