FLORENCE BEATRICE TRAWICK

We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Florence Beatrice Trawick, age 90, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Thursday, April 9, 2009 at her residence. Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 10, 2009, at 3:00 PM at Friendship Memorial Gardens in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. Richard Trawick officiating. Mrs. Trawick was born in Pansey, AL on April 20, 1918 to the late Bosie and Coriene Parrish. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Donalsonville and was a homemaker. She was married to Ralph Trawick, who preceded her in death in 1987. Mrs. Trawick had been a member of the Home Demonstration Team and was an avid member of the Donalsonville Garden Club. She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Brenda Shield of Bay City, Texas; a son, Delane "Bud" Trawick and his wife Sue of Donalsonville, GA; 5 grandchildren, Brad and Kathryn Trawick, Todd and Stephanie Trawick, David and Debra Shield, Robert and Carla Shield, and Linda and Kenney Ray; 10 great-grandchildren, Jordan and Tanner Trawick, Robby and Katie Trawick, Josh and Debra Shield, Matt and Katie Murray, Emily Shield, Cara Shield, Cecily Shield, and Bryan Ray; and four great-great grandchildren, Karsen, Kolby, Kaleb, and Karolyn Murray. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bosie and Coriene Parrish; her husband, Ralph Trawick; a son-in-law, Bernard Shield; a great granddaughter, Lindsay Ray; and several brothers and sisters. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
