TALMADGE HALL

May 30, 1939 — December 16, 2015

Talmadge Hall, age 76, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at his residence. Funeral services for Mr. Hall will be held on Friday, December 18, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Bethany Baptist Church in Brinson, GA with Dr. Ron McCaskill officiating. Interment will follow in Spring Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Thomas Arnold, Bruce Phillips, Matthew Williams, Michael Barber, Steve Griffin, and John Parker serving as active casketbearers and the Deacons of Bethany Baptist serving as honorary casketbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 10:00 AM at Bethany Baptist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethany Baptist Church 216 Bethany Church Road Brinson, GA 39825. Mr. Hall was born in Cottonwood, AL on May 30, 1939 to Talmadge Hall, Sr. and Nettie Rue Chambers Hall. He was a high school graduate and served his country in the United States Army. He was a technician at GA Pacific for a number of years. Mr. Hall was an active member of Bethany Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He played tournament softball for many years and was an avid camper and loved fishing. He loved his family and the joy that spending time with them brought to him. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Peggy Hall of Donalsonville, GA; his children, Darlyne Wright and her husband Gerald of Monroe, GA, Jamie Hall and his wife Linda of Tyler, TX, Cynthia “Cindy” Worsley and her husband Pat of Donalsonville, GA, and Sherry Gray and her husband John of Iron City, GA; a brother, Huey Hall and his wife Nora of Decatur, AL; seven grandchildren, Leigh Middleton, Carl Hall, Victoria Clark, Lance Middleton, Christina Hall, Rececca Arnold, and Bethany Gray; as well as three great grandchildren, Landon Miller, Alex Clark, and Bailey Middleton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Talmadge Hall, Sr. and Nettie Rue Chambers Hall, and a grandson, Christopher Hall.
