WILLIAM C. KRESS, JR.

William C. Kress, Jr. “Chuck”, age 51, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Wednesday evening, December 9, 2015 at his residence. Funeral services for Mr. Kress will be held on Sunday afternoon, December 13,2015 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Haught Funeral Home in Plant City, FL. Interment will follow in Bloomingdale Community Cemetery in Bloomingdale, FL. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 1:00 PM at the chapel. Mr. Kress was born in Plant City, FL to William C. Kress, Sr. “Bill” and Minnie Houck Kress. He served his country in the United States Navy and was an aviation machinist. Mr. Kress was of the Baptist faith. He received numerous medals and commendations during his 22 years of service in the Navy. He enjoyed fishing and golf and was an avid Gator football fan. Mr. Kress also loved Nascar. He leaves to cherish his memory, two daughters, Leslie Kress and Tiffany Kress both of Illinois, and his sister, Pam Johnson and her husband Mark of Donalsonville, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents, William C. Kress, Sr. and Minnie Houck Kress.
