We regret to announce the passing of Audrey Jean Thompson Odom, age 82, of Tifton, GA, formerly of Donalsonville, GA, who passed away Monday, March 13, 2006 in Tifton. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 16, at 11:00 AM at Reynoldsville Church of God with Rev. Leland Watson officiating. Interment will follow at Salem-Seminole Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 15, from 7:00-9:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mrs. Odom was born in Seminole County on April 28, 1923 to the late Jim and Fannie Denton Thompson. She was a homemaker, worked at Seminole Peanut Company and a member of Reynoldsville Church of God. She is survived by three sons, Larry Odom and Mary Williams of Havana, FL; James Odom of Donalsonville, GA; Morris Leon and Margaret Odom of Sumner, GA; one daughter, Kathy and Ken Meredith of Donalsonville, GA; one brother J.C. and Sue Thompson of Valdosta, GA; two sisters Sybil and Byron Carroll of Marianna, FL; Gladys and T. J. Parks of Jacksonville, FL. She was also survived by 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Morris Odom, one son Timothy Odom, six sisters, Mae Alday, Lee Lloyd, Ruby Bell, Pauline Carroll, Bessie Brogdon, Maude Glass and two brothers, Rufus Thompson and Sanford Thompson. Pallbearers will be Clint James, Mike Lowe, Roger Hancock, Tony Odom, James Odom and Michael Roberts. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home of Donalsonville, GA has been entrusted with the arrangements.
