JOEL THOMAS

Joel Luther Thomas, age 58, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Thursday, Nov. 26, 2015 at the Donalsonville Hospital ER. A memorial service for Mr. Thomas will be held on Monday, Dec. 7, 2015 at 12:00-2:00 PM at Big Jim’s Grill. Mr. Thomas was born in Atlanta, GA on Nov. 23, 1957 to Herman Joseph Thomas and Mary Evelyn Turner Thomas. He was a truck driver for Townsend Tree Service. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Judy Thomas; his son, Michael Thomas and his wife Robyn; his daughter, Kristy Thomas; step-sons, Joey Ethridge and Jacob Ethridge; a step-daughter, Amanda Dolan; and his sisters, Joyce Thomas and Wendy Hancock Thomas. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Victoria Thomas, Angel Batchelor, Autumn Dolan, Adrienne Davis, Aliyah Davis, Tripp Ethridge, and Ty Davis. Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Herman Joseph Thomas and Mary Evelyn Turner Thomas; a sister, Gloria Eidson, and a step-son, David Ethridge.
