IRENE SKIPPER HARRIS

We regret to announce the passing of Irene Skipper Harris, age 102, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Tuesday morning, Nov. 10, 2015 at Seminole Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services for Mrs. Harris will be held on Thursday morning, Nov. 12, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Dr. Calvin Arnold officiating. Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM, an hour prior to the service. Mrs. Harris was born in Colquitt, GA on March 3, 1913 to John Skipper and Lela Widner Skipper. She worked for many years at Coats and Clark Thread Company in Albany, GA and was a member of Union Missionary Baptist Church. She leaves to cherish her memory, a sister, Lucy Dollar of Donalsonville, GA and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her parents, John Skipper and Lela Widner Skipper; her husband Marshall Harris; two brothers and one sister.
