JUSTINE EASOM MCKENZIE

We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Justine Easom McKenzie, age 93, of Melrose, FL who passed away at her residence on Sunday, February 22, 2009. Services for Mrs. McKenzie will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2009, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Gerald Ross officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery in Donalsonville, GA. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Mrs. McKenzie was born in Headland, AL on October 26, 1915 to the late Walter J. and Annie Givens Parker. She was married to the late Melton Jack Easom and the late Samuel McKenzie. She had worked as a dietitian and was a member of the Keystone Heights Assembly of God Church. She is survived by daughter LeAnn Seay and her husband Paul of Melrose, FL; two daughters-in-law, Julia Easom of Donalsonville, GA and Joan Easom of Gainesville, FL ; ten grandchildren, Larry Easom, Kathy Nobles, Kim Kelley, Billy Seay, Jason Seay, Justin Seay, Katie Reed, Leslie Easom, Tom Eason and Tony Easom. Nineteen great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, three sons, Walter Joe Easom, Jimmie Bruce Easom, Jerry Hayward Easom, and one sister, Tommie Lee Waldon. Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to The Roberts Center Haven Hospice, 6400 St. Johns Ave., Palatka, FL 32177.
