LESLIE CROOM

Leslie Croom, age 79, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at his residence. Funeral services for Mr. Croom will be held on Friday, August 7, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Hebrew Freewill Baptist Church in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. Andy Merritt officiating. The service will conclude in the church with burial to be held in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening, August 6, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mr. Croom was born in Donalsonville, GA on August 24, 1935 to James Olin Croom and Ella Barber Croom. He worked as a parts supplier with BP Amoco for a number of years, a position from which he retired. He was a member of Hebrew Freewill Baptist Church and served his country during the Korean War in the United States Air Force. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Barbara McCormick Croom of Donalsonville, GA; a son, Kenneth Lloyd Croom and his wife Liz; two daughters, Michelle Brunson and her husband David and Sherry Chambers and her husband Wayne Chambers,Sr.; a brother, Carlton Croom and his wife Geneva; seven grandchildren, Phillip Croom, Dane Brimlow, Travis Brimlow, Caitlynn Brunson, Tyler Daniels, Donna Chambers, and Wayne Chambers, Jr.; and six great grandchildren, Ashley Ingram, Ashton Chambers, Colton Chambers, Hunter Chambers, Katelynn Chambers, and Greyson Chambers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
