FRANCES ELAINE HILL GOLDEN

We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Frances Elaine Hill Golden, age 66, of Iron City, GA who passed away Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009 at Donalsonville Hospital. Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Golden will be held on Monday, Feb. 9, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Bethel Cemetery in Early County with Rev. Benjamin Miller officiating. Mrs. Golden was born in Early County, GA on June 26, 1942 to the late Emmitte Durwood and Willie Earnestine McLendon Hill. She was a homemaker and a member of Corinth Free Will Baptist Church of Iron City. Mrs. Golden leaves to cherish her memory her husband Herbert Golden of Iron City, GA; two sons, Phillip Golden and Chris Golden and his wife Tammi all of Bainbridge, GA; a daughter, Teresa Cook and her husband Jamie of Bainbridge, GA; two sisters, Jacquelyn Chancey of Colquitt, GA and Edna Sue Morris of Donalsonville, GA; seven grandchildren, Stephanie Golden, Zach Golden and his wife Jessie, Preston Golden, Sean Golden, Jessica Golden, Chelsea Cook, and J.D. Cook; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmitte Durwood and Willie Earnestine McLendon Hill and a sister, Betty Clark. Active casketbearers will be Mitchell Burke, Tim Burke, Mike Chancey, Randy Chancey, Preston Golden, and Zach Golden.
