SADIE EVANS

On July 16, 2015, Heaven gained an angel. The dearly beloved Sadie “Carolyn” Evans (Birge) left this world peacefully. She was born on November 13, 1947 to Moses Early Birge and Ruthy Mae Birge in Blakely, GA. She left behind a husband of fifty-two years, Hilton Royce Evans and six children, Milton George Evans (Barbara), her eldest son; four daughters, Carol Lynn Waters (Joshua), Gloria Melinda Stacy (Chuck), Sara Nichole Evans (Steven), Stephane Leann Bryan (Roy), and her youngest son, Stephen Royce Evans. She had eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She has ten living siblings and nine deceased. Mrs. Evans will be loved and missed by many. Funeral services for Mrs. Evans will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. Keith Horne officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Springs Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Cedar Springs, GA. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
