RAYMOND GEORGE ODOM

We regret to announce the passing of Raymond George Odom, age 69, of Donalsonville, Ga who passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2006, at the Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, AL. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 25, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Friendship United Methodist Church in Donalsonville with Rev. Kirk Loyless officiating. Mr. Odom was born in Seminole County on November 26, 1936 to the late George Odom and Theda Odom Layton of Pelham, GA. He was a retired farmer and a Real Estate Appraiser, a member of Friendship United Methodist Church, past member of Donalsonville Lions Club, Georgia Cattleman's Association, Georgia Pork Producers and Georgia Farm Bureau. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Beth Merritt Odom of Donalsonville, GA, his mother Theda Layton of Pelham, GA; two sons, Raymond Keith Odom and his wife Becky of Bishop, GA ; James Lance Noell and his wife Rachel of Vancouver, WA; two daughters, Anita O. Johnson and her husband Phil of Covington, GA ;Celia Odom Ledbetter of Donalsonville, GA; 10 grandchildren Jonathan Oravec, Benjamin Oravec, Meridith Johnson Farrow, Philip Johnson, III, Christine Odom, Camille Odom, Jessica White, Carmen Woodruff, Vance Ledbetter and Bailey Noel. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren Christopher and Alexia White, Garrett and Collin White, Camryn Ackerman, Shelbie Woodruff and Macie Woodruff. Pallbearers will Ronnie Shingler, Scott Hartzog, Mark Hanna, Brad Clarke, Wade Spooner and Jimmy Ivey.
