MARCUS BRANDON DAVIS

We regret to announce the passing of Marcus Brandon Davis, age 24, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away on Monday, February 2, 2009 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, AL. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 6, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Oakview Church of God in Donalsonville with Rev. Milton Pate officiating. Interment will follow in the Oakview Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 5, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mr. Davis was born in Albany, GA on September 10, 1984 to Royce Allen and Deloris Marie "Dottie" Foxworth Davis. A 2003 graduate of Seminole County High School, he was a member of Troop 700 of the Boy Scouts of America and attended Oakview Church of God in Donalsonville, GA. He is survived by his parents, Royce and Dottie Davis; one brother, Byron Davis of Donalsonville, GA; maternal grandfather, J. R. Foxworth of Vernon, FL; and maternal grandmother, Betty L. Foxworth of Chipley, FL; paternal grandmother, Willie Merle Davis of Cottondale, FL. two nieces, Ansley Carpenter and Kaitlynn Carpenter of Dothan, AL. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Alfred Davis. Casketbearers will be Stephen Braswell, Eric Hodges, Trey Alderman, Patrick Tillman, Matthew Thompson and Justin Holley. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
