We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Charles Weldon "Don" Childree, Jr. age 50, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away on Monday, February 2, 2009 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Trawick and Edward Whittaker officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Memorial Gardens in Donalsonville, GA. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 3, 2009 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mr. Childree was born in Donalsonville, GA on December 16, 1958 to Charles Weldon, Sr. and Kaye Davis Childree. He worked in the agricultural industry and was a member of The First Church of the Nazarene in Donalsonville, GA. He is survived by his parents, Charles and Kaye Childree; three sons, Brian Childree and his wife Dalisha; Sloan Childree and his wife Leslie and Charles W. Childree III; one brother, James Childree and one sister, Vie Cherry and her husband Ricky all of Donalsonville, GA. He is also survived by four grandchildren. Casketbearers will be Chris Whittaker, Mark Whittaker, Ed Chance, Cotton Chance, Bobby Jackson and Jerry Cunningham.
