TIMOTHY HIEMSTRA

Timothy Alan Hiemstra, age 61, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Friday, June 19, 2015 in Custer, South Dakota. Funeral services for Mr. Hiemstra will be held on Monday June 29, 2015 at Donalsonville First Assembly of God at 11:00 AM with Rev. James Scarborough officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Memorial Gardens with Mitchell Sheffield, Michael Albritton, Lamar Jones, John Terrell, Hugh Parham, and Eric Lott serving as active casketbearers. Visitation will be held on Sunday evening, June 28, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 PM. Mr. Hiemstra was born in Cassopolis, MI on June 30, 1953 to Raymond Hiemstra and Ann Hiemstra. He worked in the grocery industry in produce for a number of years, and he was an active member of Donalsonville First Assembly of God Church. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Deborah Hiemstra of Donalsonville, GA; two daughters, Kelly McMillian and husband Kevin of Woodbridge, VA and Christiana Howey and husband Matt of Salem, Oregon; a step-daughter, Christie Spaeth and husband Kevin of Meridian, Idaho; four brothers, Mike Hiemstra and wife Char, Jeff Hiemstra and Chris Hiemstra all of Cassopolis, MI, and Pete Hiemstra of Kentucky. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Andrew Stewart. Mr. Hiemstra was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Hiemstra and Ann Hiemstra, and two brothers, David and Rusty Hiemstra.
