We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Addie Shores Harlow, age 82, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Friday morning, January 16, 2009 at her residence. Funeral services for Mrs. Harlow will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2008 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Damien Salazar officiating. Burial will follow at New Enterprise Freewill Baptist Church in Iron City, GA. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 PM before the service. Mrs. Harlow was born in Seminole County on March 14, 1926 to the late Tom and Elizabeth Phillips Shores. She was married to Wilmer Henry Harlow who preceded her in death, was a homemaker and a member of New Enterprise Freewill Baptist Church in Iron City, GA. She is survived by three sons, Tommy Shores and his wife Darlene of Brinson, GA; Kent Shores and Henry Harlow of Donalsonville, GA; one daughter, Darlene McLendon and her husband David of Donalsonville, GA; one brother, Rudolph Shores of Brinson, GA. She is also survived by grandchildren, Shellie S. Layton, Dave McLendon, William McLendon, Clinton McCall, John McCall, Keith McCall and Daniel Taylor and great grandchildren, Ashley Layton, Cody Layton, Marie McCall and Ashley McCall. She was preceded in death by her parents,Tom and Elizabeth Phillips Shores; her husband, Wilmer Henry Harlow; three sisters, Ollie Mae Murkerson, Annie Odom, Minnie Braswell, and three brothers, Paul Shores, Theo Shores and Alton Shores. Active casketbearers will be Steve Shores, Jim Smith, Tommy Easterwood, Curt Peterson, Bobby Hoskins and Jeffery Grice.
