TINA REBA OWENS JONES

We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Tina Reba Owens Jones, age 85, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Thursday morning, December 4, 2008 at her residence. Funeral services for Mrs. Jones will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Hebrew Free Will Baptist Church in Donalsonville with Rev. Andy Merritt officiating. Interment will be held at Hebrew Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery immediately following the service. Visitation will be held on Friday evening, December 5, 2008 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mrs. Jones was born on September 21, 1923 in Seminole County, GA to the late Jesse L. and Hattie Lela Davis Owens. She worked for a number of years as a telephone operator. Mrs. Jones was a member of Hebrew Free Will Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard V. Jones. She leaves to cherish her memory, a son, Charles Roy Parker and his wife Marilyn of Donalsonville, GA; a daughter, Dixie Parker Daniels and her husband Robert "Bob" Daniels of Colquitt, GA; a sister, Jeanette Owens Moulton of Florida; 11 grandchildren, Helen Walker Shaber of Fort Pearce, FL, Charles Walker and his wife Marie of Newington, GA, Lewis Walker and his wife Antoinette of Brunswick, GA, Buck Suggs and his wife Michelle of GA, Reba-Ann Suggs Frankhouser and her husband Tom of Fort Drum, Watertown, NY, Kitty Parker Gibson and her husband Derick of Climax, GA, Robert Parker of Bainbridge, GA, Shaun C. Roney and his wife Jennifer, Shelby C. Roney, Patrick Parker and his wife Heather, and Tina Parker Moody and her husband John all of Donalsonville, GA. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse L. and Hattie Lela Davis Owens; her husband, Howard V. Jones; a brother, Louie Owens; a sister, Thelma Owens Odom; and two sons, Madison J. Parker and Robert Pat Parker. Active Casketbearers will be Donald Parker, Lee Boyette, Arthur Glass, Wayne Pinegar, Bubba Smith, Adam Young, Jonas Norman, Shawn Nelson, Charles Burke, and Jeff Smith.
