WILLIAM GLENN GLISSON

We regret to announce the passing of Mr. William Glenn Glisson, age 45, of Brinson, GA who passed away Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 19, 2008 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, AL. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. James Scarborough officiating. Burial will follow in the Hebrew Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Donalsonville, GA. Visitation will be held on Friday evening, Nov. 21, 2008 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. He graduated from Greensboro High School. He was a welder and mechanic and a member of Sycamore Baptist Church in Greensboro, FL. Mr. Glisson leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Billy Joe and Nira Jean White Glisson of Donalsonville, GA; a daughter, Glenda Glisson of Colquitt, GA; a sister, Sandra Yates and her husband Dale of Donalsonville, GA; his fiancee, Pamela Sandifer of Brinson, GA; and four grandchildren, Anthony North, Tristan North, Steven Holmes, and Savanna Holmes. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Active casketbearers will be Ricky Alday, Robin Faircloth, Edward Chambers, Jason Lomineck, Thomas Johnson and Robert Chason. Honorary casketbearers will be Roy Powell, Glenn McMillan, Kyle Bryan and Vance Jones. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
