We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Ida Laura Ward Braswell, age 90, of Kingston, TN and formerly of Donalsonville, GA who passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at her residence in Kingston. Graveside services will be held at Salem-Seminole Baptist Church Cemetery at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 31, 2008 with Rev. James Scarborough officiating. Mrs. Braswell was born in Seminole County on May 23, 1918 to the late William and Maggie Singletary Ward. She was a homemaker and also worked in the day care industry. She was married to Russell Howard Braswell who preceded her in death in 1982. She is survived by two daughters, Shirley Herndon of Prosperity, SC and Wanda Pauli and her husband Wayne of Kingston, TN; three sons, Winston "Wink" Braswell and his wife Carolyn of Leesburg, FL; Douglas Braswell and Kathy Ledgerwood of Deltona, FL and Bill Braswell of Sanford, FL. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Maggie Singletary Ward; her husband, Russell Howard Braswell and four sisters, Jessie Lee Robinson, Velma Middleton, Lois Martin and Beulah Rogers and a great grandchild, Zachary M. "Doc" Alday, HN.
