CLARENCE HODGES DUKES

We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Clarence Dukes, age 58, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Friday, October 17, 2008 at the Miller County Hospital in Colquitt, GA. Funeral services for Mr. Dukes will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Dean officiating. Interment will follow in Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Miller County. Visitation will be held on Monday evening, October 20, 2008 from 6:30-8:30 PM. Mr. Dukes was born in Seminole County, GA on January 11, 1950 to the late J.D. and Sarah Faircloth Dukes. He worked in the paint and body business and was married to the former Suzanne Casalou. Mr. Dukes leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Suzanne C. Dukes of Donalsonville, GA ; two sons, Scott Dukes and his wife Holly of Cincinnati, OH and Derek Dukes of Donalsonville, GA; two daughters, Michelle Pollock of Kentucky and Mary Dukes of Donalsonville, GA; two brothers, William Dukes and his wife Cindy of Alexander City, AL and Steve Dukes of Donalsonville, GA; and two sisters, Gloria Newton and her husband Bobby of Donalsonville, GA and Lisa Kay Dukes of Ooltewah, TN. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Cody Bowling, Tyler Bowling, Kaylee Sheree Dukes, Abbie Elizabeth Dukes, Tori Grace Dukes, Devin Scott Dukes, Cameron Pollock, Tristin Pollock, Shane Pollock, and Taylor Pollock. Active casketbearers will be Ray Givens, Jeff Smith, Bruce Temples, Kelly Ford, Scott Key, and DeWayne Dukes.
