JESSIE WILMA HICKS FRITH

Jessie Wilma Hicks Frith, age 95, of Dothan, AL and formerly of Jakin, GA passed away Friday afternoon, October 3, 2014 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, AL. Funeral services for Mrs. Frith will be held on Monday, October 6, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Springfield Baptist Church in Jakin, GA with Rev. Fred Odom officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Julian Houston, Vinson Evans, Ronald Bruner, Bill Adams, Don Hand, and William Murkerson serving as active casketbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 10:00 AM at the church. Mrs. Frith was born in Dale Co., AL on July 23, 1919 to Nathan Carrie Hicks and Callie Saphronia Childree Hicks. She was a member of Springfield Baptist Church and a homemaker. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Clarence Jackie Frith and his wife Bonnie of Jakin, GA and Larry Thomas Frith of Jakin, GA; two grandsons, Steven Frith and his wife Sandra and David Frith and his wife Angie; as well as four great grandchildren, Megan Frith, Jessica Frith, Austin Frith and Dustin Frith. Mrs. Frith was preceded in death by her parents, Nathan Carrie Hicks and Callie Saphronia Childree Hicks; her husband, Clarence Daniel Frith; and four sisters, Nettie Boone, Erma Livingston, Kizzie Brickey, and Nellie Jane Williams.
