BONNIE JEAN PRUETT MCCLELLAN

Bonnie Jean Pruett McClellan, age 87, of Marianna, FL and formerly of Jakin, GA passed away Tuesday evening, September 30, 2014 at Jackson Hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. McClellan will be held on Friday, Oct. 3, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. Dan Harper officiating. Interment will follow in Jakin City Cemetery with Mike McLendon, Hewett Nunnery, Jeff Nunnery, Matt Nunnery, Bruce Horn, and Ken Green serving as active casketbearers. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening, Oct. 2, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. McClellan was born in Colquitt, GA on January 30, 1927 to Jeffrey Wilburn Pruett and Lena Sauls Pruett. She was a homemaker and excellent seamstress. Mrs. McClellan was a member of Jakin Methodist Church. She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Stephen McClellan and his wife Anita of Jakin, GA; a daughter, Jeanie Odom and her husband Tommy of Cedar Springs, GA; and six grandchildren, Morgan McClellan, Brandon Cook, Josie Cook, Amber Cook, Sam Oslin, and Justin Oslin. Mrs. McClellan was preceded in death by her parents, Jeffrey Wilburn Pruett and Lena Sauls Pruett; her husband, Marion Howard McClellan; a daughter, Pam Oslin; and five sisters.
