BETTY MILLER AUSLEY

Betty Ausley, age 84, of Iron City, GA passed away Thursday morning, September 18, 2014 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center Emergency Room in Dothan, Alabama. Funeral services for Mrs. Ausley will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. Jimmy Hornsby officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Memorial Gardens in Donalsonville, GA. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Ausley was born on March 11, 1930 in Seminole County, GA to Hubert Miller and Bessie Lane Miller. She was a homemaker, and a wonderful cook, who enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters, Janet Carver and her husband Bob of Iron City, GA and Gaye Tucker of Donalsonville, GA; one son, Willis L. “Buster” Ausley of Iron City, GA; five grandchildren, Gabrielle Hicks and her husband Caleb of Iron City, GA, Melissa Franklin and her husband Brandon of Iron City, GA, Amber Tucker and Zack Bridges of Donalsonville, GA, Robbie Johnson of Donalsonville, GA, and Todd Johnson and Maegan Mann of Dothan, AL. Mrs. Ausley is also survived by three great grandchildren, Ausben Hicks, Alli Bridges, and Keegan Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Bessie Lane Miller; her husband, Willis F. Ausley; and a brother, Nolan Lamar Miller.
