MARY ETHEL PIPKIN BUSH

We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Mary Ethel Pipkin Bush, age 97, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Saturday evening, September 13, 2008 at her residence. Funeral services for Mrs. Bush will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Union Baptist Church in Miller County, with Dr. Calvin Arnold officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening, September 16, 2008 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA. Mrs. Bush was born on June 28, 1911 in Barbour Co., AL to the late John Henry and Lula Bell Ready Pipkin. She was a homemaker and a member of Union Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for many years. Mrs. Bush leaves to cherish her memory, a son, Ken Bush and his wife Betty of Cedar Park, TX and a daughter, Mary Alice Bush Chambers of Fayetteville, GA. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Macky Roy Bush; and one son, Allen Bush. Casketbearers will be Brett Bush, Trent Chambers, Stacy Bush, Geary Bush, Tony JOhnson and Toby Johnson. Honorary casketbearers will be Carlton Thomas, Enoch Benefield, Buzz Grimsley, Max Kelley, Vic Hunter and Harmon Jernigan. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
