We regret to announce the passing of Mr. David Jennings, age 54, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at his residence. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 6, 2008 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Al Murkerson officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home. Mr. Jennings was born in Cambridge, England on June 1, 1954 to the late Katherine Milestone Jennings and Roy Haywood Jennings. He retired from the US Air Force and was a member of American Legion Post 157. He worked as an instructor in the technical division at Bainbridge College. Mr. Jennings is survived by his wife, Marilyn Jennings of Donalsonville, GA; a son, Kyle Jennings of Sierra Vista, AZ; a daughter, Tonya Alderman and her husband Trey of Colquitt, GA; his father, Roy Jennings and his wife Osie of Winston-Salem, NC; five brothers, Roy Jennings, Jr and his wife Teresa, Richard Jennings and Richard Hege all of Winston-Salem, NC; Alan Jennings and his wife Susan of Jacksonville, FL; Timothy Hege and his wife Kathy of Tobaccoville, NC; a sister Cathy Ittermann and her husband Bob of Winston-Salem, NC; He is also survived by four grandchildren Savannah Alderman, Aaliyah Alderman, Joshua Jennings, Miles Jennings and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. His mother, Katherine Milestone Jennings; a brother Danny Hege and a sister Rebecca Street preceded him in death. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society c/o Lucy Thomas, P.O.
