Lougenia “Jeannie” McMillan Hunt, age 48, of Colquitt, GA passed away Friday morning, August 8, 2014 at her residence. Funeral services for Mrs. Hunt will be held on Sunday, August 10, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Walden and Rev. Jeremy Horn officiating. Interment will follow in Corinth Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with Tony Hutto, Jeff Givens, Brantley McMillan, Patrick McMillan, Zackary Johnson, and Preston Johnson serving as active casketbearers. Honorary casketbearers will be Tim McMillan and Doug Phillips. Visitation for Mrs. Hunt will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mrs. Hunt was born in Seminole County, GA, on December 15, 1965 to Bryan McMillan and Louis Chambliss. She worked for Federal State as a peanut grader and she attended Unity Church of God. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, David Hunt of Colquitt, GA; her son, David Hunt, Jr. “DJ” and his wife Ashley of Newton, GA; her daughter, Angel Marie Watkins and her husband Matt of Bainbridge, GA; her parents, Bryan McMillan and Louis Chambliss; her brothers, Raymond McMillan and his wife Sally of Donalsonville, GA, Glenn McMillan and his wife Debbie of Colquitt, Lee McMillan of Colquitt, GA, Bruce McMillan and his wife Leah of Valdosta, GA, Tony Phillips of Donalsonville, GA, Terry Phillip and his wife Wanda of Donalsonville, GA, Rocky Phillips and his wife Tammy of Donalsonville, GA, Latharo Phillips of Donalsonville, GA, Chad Phillips and his wife Kristie of Donalsonville, GA, Brantley McMillan of Donalsonville, GA and Ken Chambliss and his wife Dianna of Donalsonville, GA; her sisters, Diane Clinton and her husband Mark of Colquitt, GA, Audrey Ingram and her husband Murry of Colquitt, GA and Georgia Jones and her husband William of Donalsonville, GA; her grandchildren, Savanna Brown, Lillie Brown, Dawson Brown and Carlie Brown. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hunt was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jim and Brazel Phillips and Charlie and Mazie McMillan; a brother, Randy Phillips; and a sister, Melissa McMillan.
