We regret to announce the passing of Pruitt Cox of Wahneta, FL who passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2005 in his residence. Graveside service will be held Friday, December 23, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Friendship Cemetery in Donalsonville, GA. with Daniel E. Hart officiating. Mr. Cox was born in Miller County, GA on March 18, 1933 to the late Tom and Lillie Mae Swanner Cox. He lived in the Winter Haven area for the past 40 years. He worked as a lineman and in construction,he attended the Church of the Latter Day Saints. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Quick Cox of Wahneta, FL; two sons, Timothy Cox of Winter Haven, FL and Christopher Cox of Auburndale, FL; three daughters Charlotte Hart and her husband Daniel; Donna Lambert and her husband Randy, Wendy Smith and her husband David all of Winter Haven, FL; a brother Bobby Ray Cox of Leesburg, GA; a sister Camilla Medley of Albany, GA. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home of Donalsonville has been entrusted with the arrangements.
